I bought this CD a year ago because I am a fan of all three musicians. I saw all three play last weekend at the West Texas Jazz Society annual jazz party in Odessa, Texas and that just reinforced my opinion. This is a very good buy.
Mainstream jazz tenor saxophonist Harry Allen, pianist Rossano Sportiello and bassist Joel Forbes play the great songs of Hoagy Carmichael in an intimate chamber jazz trio setting.
