迪士尼的卡通在全世界都非常风行，而附属电影的歌曲也是潜移默化地在坊间成长青金曲。但有否想过这批歌曲来一次爵士化？这张《Jazz Loves Disney》12曲（美版有13曲）就匯聚了多位不同国家／阵营的Jazz／Blues歌手，如英国的Jamie Cullum、美国的Melody Gardot、Stacey Kent、Gregory Porter，意大利的Raphaël Gualazzi，加拿大的Nikki Yanofsky等，用爵士手法去演绎12首迪士尼金曲。有Big Band Jazz模式的《Everybody Wants To Be A Cat》（Jamie Cullum），也有Bosa Nova Jazz化的法文版本《Bibbidi Bobbodo Boo》（Stacey Kent）。全碟虽来自不同歌手，又分别在不同地方灌录，但却出奇的统一连贯，气氛和sound都相当一致。监制Jay Newland和编曲的Rob Mounsey要记一功。（马其发）

Jazz talent is never wasted

This album seems like it was an enjoyable project. Sometimes artists chose to go with something simple, familiar and fun, and I think this album accomplishes that. It's not pushing any envelopes by any means, but it's still a delightful listen. Wonderful work from each performer.✨
